Walt Disney World

    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is temporarily closed for refurbishment. The attraction will reopen with a little bit of new magic in Spring 2026.

    • To make way for the largest expansion in history at Magic Kingdom, the Walt Disney World Railroad is operating under a modified route that excludes Frontierland. The attraction will operate as a shuttle between Main Street station and Fantasyland station only.

    • Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is temporarily closed for refurbishment and is planned to reopen in Spring 2026. Read the Disney Parks Blog to learn more.

    • This holiday season Jungle Cruise has been transformed into the jolly Jingle Cruise for a limited time. Jungle Cruise will return early in 2026. Please check back here for updates.

    • Kali River Rapids is temporarily closed for refurbishment and will reopen December 12, 2025.

    • Harambe Market will temporarily close for refurbishment on October 20 and is expected to reopen in early 2026.

    • The last day to experience DINOSAUR is February 1. The attraction will close permanently on February 2 to make way for Tropical Americas. Read the Disney Parks Blog to learn more.

    • Vacation Fun - An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie will be temporarily closed beginning October 20, 2025, and is planned to reopen later this year.

    • Discover a new show to Walt Disney World, “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!,” debuting summer 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    • Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open in Summer 2026. Read the Disney Parks Blog to learn more.

    • Animation Courtyard - (Star Tours, Disney Junior Play & Dance) Closure for Re-theme Sept. 24th, 2025 - late summer 2026

  • Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently unavailable. During this time, we encourage you to visit Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park.

  • From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

  • From January 2026 until late April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and the kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports will continue to be available. Additionally, Guests are welcome to use the other pools throughout Disney’s All-Star Resorts, including the Calypso Pool, Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort; and the Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

  • From October 2025 through May 2026, Guest rooms at Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will undergo refurbishment, followed by refurbishment work at Jambo House from May 2026 through January 2027. During these times, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area. All amenities will remain available throughout the refurbishment.

  • From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

    From January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

  • Yacht Club:

    Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through late 2026. As part of this work, the porte cochere will be closed through October 2025. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place.

    While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining and most other amenities will remain available.

    Beach Club Resort and Beach Club Villas:

    Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through 2027. As part of this work, the porte cochere will be closed through September 2025. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place.

    While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining and most other amenities will remain available.

  • Beginning late November 2025 and continuing throughout 2026, refurbishment work will take place in select areas of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. While Guests may see or hear work during daytime hours, most Resort amenities—including dining, recreation, and merchandise locations—will remain available.

    The Disney Skyliner will be closed for routine refurbishment January 25–31, 2026, and January 24–30, 2027. During these times, complimentary bus transportation will be available.

    From January 11, 2027, through April 2027, the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area and Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas will be closed for routine maintenance. Guests may see and hear work taking place during daytime hours. However, the Villas Pool and the Inn Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

  • From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

    From January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

  • September 2024 Through Late 2027

    Refurbishments will occur in phases throughout select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, including the atrium and Bay Lake Tower. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

    January 26, 2026 Through Early May 2026

    The Bay Cove Pool, the Cove Bar, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily be closed for maintenance. The Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, the water play area and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy.

  • From early May 2025 through mid-2026, construction will take place near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open for Guests to enjoy. During this time, seating availability around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and Guests may see or hear construction in the area. Guests using bus transportation should follow posted signage to reach the pool area.

  • As part of the ongoing enhancements at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, refurbishment work will continue in select areas through mid-2026. Guests may see or hear work during daytime hours. Efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, and most pools, dining, and other amenities will remain available for Guests to enjoy.

    As renovations continue at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the gingerbread display will not be available during the 2025 holiday season.

  • Beginning September 29 through late November, the Miller’s Road leisure pool at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, Guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Sandcastle feature pool and the Old Turtle Pond and South Point leisure pools during the temporary closure.

  • From May 2025 through 2026, some areas of the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are being refurbished. This work includes the reconfiguration of the front entrance roadway and bus area. While construction activity will be noticeable during daytime hours, efforts will be made to minimize disruptions. All Resort dining, pools and amenities will remain available. Additionally, some views of the theme parks and other surrounding areas may be impacted. Please allow for extra travel time when arriving at or leaving the Resort.

  • From March 2025 through February 2026, refurbishment work will take place in select areas of Disney’s Pop Century Resort. While Guests may see or hear work in the area during daytime hours, most Resort amenities—including dining, recreation, and merchandise locations—will remain available.

    From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

    From January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

  • None

  • From early May 2025 through August 2027, Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment in phases. During this time, refurbishment will take place across different sections of the resort, and Guests may see or hear work in the area.

  • From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

    From January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment. Complimentary bus service will be available.

  • The Paddock Pool, its aquatic play area and The Paddock Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort will be closed from October 13 through early December for routine maintenance.

  • Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are undergoing exterior refurbishment work expected to continue through late 2026. These enhancements may impact views from various locations throughout the Resort. While most resort amenities will remain available, Guests may see and hear construction work during daytime hours.

    From Jan. 12, 2026, through early April 2026, the boat dock at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo routine maintenance. The dock will be closed and boat transportation temporarily suspended from Jan. 12–30.

Disneyland

    Disneyland Seasonal Closures

    These attractions and rides usually close seasonally at Disneyland for refurbishments and holiday overlays. The estimated dates on this Disneyland refurbishment schedule are based on past ride closures. We'll always post the specific dates when we receive them under Disneyland ride refurbishments.

    • Grizzly River Run: Usually closes early January through February or March for seasonal refurbishment.

    • Haunted Mansion: Usually closes mid-August for holiday overlay installation and reopens September; closes early January for holiday overlay removal and reopens mid-January.

    • it's a small world: Usually closes mid to late October for holiday overlay installation and reopens November; closes mid-January for holiday overlay removal and reopens late January/early February.

  • Refurbishments:

    • Mickey's PhilharMagic
      CLOSED Oct. 6, 2025 - TBD

    • Avengers Campus expansion — the walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land is closed. Cars Land can be accessed via the Performance Corridor or San Fransokyo Square. Avengers Campus can be accessed via the Performance Corridor or Hollywood Land. The Service Animal Relief Area has relocated to the space between Sarge's Surplus Hut and Fillmore's Taste-In.

      PERMANENTLY CLOSING Early 2026

  • Now through 2026, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is undergoing refurbishment, affecting certain areas in the hotel. The highest potential for noise will be limited to daylight hours.

    As refurbishment is underway to make way for enhancements, some dining locations within Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa may have a modified experience. Napa Rose restaurant is temporarily closed and expected to reopen in early 2026. During this time, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is being offered in Trillium Room.

Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa

  • The Waikolohe family pool, Waikolohe whirlpool spa, and Volcanic Vertical body slide will be unavailable from April 13 – May 8, 2026. During this time, we invite guests to make a splash other fun water features, including Waikolohe Stream lazy river, Ka Maka Pool & Grotto family pool, Keiki Cove children’s splash zone, Tubestone Curl tube slide, Menehune Bridge water play structure, several whirlpool spas, and the Ko Olina beach area.

  • As part of ongoing maintenance at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Ka Maka Pool and Grotto will be unavailable for a limited time this fall. Ka Maka Pool and Grotto, including Ka Maka whirlpool spa, will be unavailable October 19 through November 14, 2025. These amenities are expected to reopen on November 15, 2025.

Disney’s Beach Resorts

  • From September 8, 2025, through March 2026, Hilton Head Island Resort will undergo exterior maintenance. You may see and hear construction and refurbishment work during daytime hours. The ongoing enhancements may impact views from several places within the Resort hotel property. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • From January 5, 2026, through November 2026, exterior refurbishment work will take place at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. During this time, Guests may see and hear construction work during daytime hours.
